Better connected
with superior broadband
We offer ultra-fast broadband which arrives at each office via a direct fibre connection to the local exchange. This means that the online connectivity your business needs is stable and reliable and doesn’t dip or lag depending upon the time of day or the number of people accessing the system. On the contrary, each start-up will be provided with its own unique bandwidth which doesn’t have to be shared with anyone else and we can set matching upload and download speeds to suit your needs.

It is not necessary for start up businesses to have a professional office space from the get go – many businesses in their early stages cannot afford this. However, there are many benefits of a start up office. Start up offices are great for establishing and integrating a new team; setting standards, responsibility, and accountability for the team. Having an office space also presents a great image when attracting potential clients, partners, employees and even media outlets for marketing the new business.
The biggest consideration when deciding whether to utilise an office as a start up business is cost. If your start up business does not have prior funding, and is reliant on the revenue it makes, you need to consider whether this money will be better invested in an office or in your products and services.
Yes, having an office space demonstrates security for potential employees which is especially important for start ups. Creating a creative and welcoming office space contributes to an appealing work culture which can attract employees; the more competitive your business is, the better chance it has of attracting talented workers.
Inspirational office space is believed to contribute towards productivity – employees feel more motivated to work hard for their company when their company is investing in the health and wellbeing of their employees through their office space, amongst other things. Offices for start ups can be great for motivating employees by establishing a team-mentality and demonstrating promotion within the business.
Start up businesses can be built from home, with work-from-home becoming an increasingly valid way of working for many. However, some of the benefits of a start up office include: creating a space where employees can be brought together, building a sense of camaraderie and collaboration, as well as inciting communication – all essential features for a start up. An inspirational office space creates a great atmosphere for your employees and clients, too, demonstrating you’re a good company to work for and with.
There are many challenges which come to establishing a start up business. The largest of these include financial security. This includes managing your finances and financial expectations, ensuring you’re not moving too fast and that your business is sustainable. Start up offices are a huge financial investment – finding a premise that fulfils your needs, for a suitable price, can be very tricky. Consider looking at start up office space to lease.
Your office can have an impact on your employee’s job satisfaction – the design can directly affect stress levels and comfort. Some workplaces offer designs which are considerate of the health and wellbeing of their employees, such as ergonomic seating, natural lighting, wellness or chill out rooms, and more. Countryside offices are great for decreasing employee stress and improving wellness.
Only you can decide the right time to buy or lease start up office space. However, when you can afford to evolve your business by moving into office space, and by not doing so you are stunting the growth of your business, this is generally a good time to consider moving.
The Perfect Match for Start up Offices
Although one of our buildings is a 1220 sq ft converted Dutch barn which can house as many as 16 employees, our spaces for start-up businesses are more likely to take the form of one of our three converted grain silos. As soon as you set eyes on one of our converted grain silos you’ll realise that you’re looking at a start-up office that is unusually high quality and completely unique.
The circular construction of a grain silo is a familiar site throughout the English countryside, and our conversions have been carried out in a completely sympathetic manner. The materials we used were chosen to blend into the surroundings, at the same time as creating eco-friendly, thermally efficient buildings which will simultaneously bolster your green credentials and lower your running costs.
Each one of our grain silos start up offices is large enough to house as many as three or four employees, and they all offer stunning elevated views across the surrounding countryside. Facilities for each office include a WC and kitchen space and our management model means that we take care of details such as arranging all the utilities, maintenance and repairs so that you’re free to concentrate on the core activity of your start-up.
With The Perfect Surroundings
The buildings themselves blend perfectly with the surroundings, rolling green countryside, and wide-open spaces. Despite being located in such a tranquil and calming setting, our start up offices are easily accessible by road, with the A449 and links to the UK motorway network being just two miles away and free parking for cars and bikes offered as standard. Once you lease a start-up office, you’ll be pleased to find that the picturesque delights of Kinver village – including pubs, shops, restaurants, and a post office – are just a short and pleasant walk away.
Flexibility
Because we understand the world of business, we appreciate the fact that many start-ups are deeply wary of committing to long term lease arrangements that tie them down to a deal they then can’t get out of. We deal with these fears by offering a flexible leasing model, which includes short term one-off leases or a rolling lease designed to grow and change with your business. Once you’ve tried one of our short term leases we’re pretty convinced that you’ll agree that Kinver Point is the ideal place for your start-up to become established and grow into the future.
